Dont

While I’ve been thinking of writing about what one shouldn’t wear to work I found this story:-) So, now I just subscribe to this opinion but later be sure I’ll put here my consideration about.

Go Logo A-Go-Go if you dont want you will come off as a “label whore” instead of an independent, creative thinker.

Leave People Saying “Holy Cow!” Don’t listen to the celebrity ‘zines and fashion mags — even if the look du jour is jeans with holes all over, it’s not right for the office (even a casual one). Needless to say, holes and low-rise styles that reveal your underwear are an even bigger no-no!

Burn Rubber We would probably live in flip-flops (with an occasional jaunt in heels), if someone would let us. But, alas, that’s not how the work world works. Those comfy rubber thongs that give our feet a vacation just don’t set the right vibe at the office.

Make A Statement Speaking your mind at work is great when it’s in an appropriate way at the appropriate time. But sporting tees with religious or political messages is something to avoid. This can offend co-workers, create clashes, and even get you dragged into HR. So save the soap-box talk for after hours.

Get Leggy In Shorts Obvious, yes, but then why do people still do it? Even if you class them up with a pair of pumps or a cute jacket, shorts don’t cut it at the office — especially the short shorts, which could cut your career short, too! If you want a breezy summer look, stick with skirts.

Bust Out The Bustier Check your va-va-voom at the office door. No matter what trends you may see coming down the runway, don’t fool yourself into thinking that slipping on a black blazer over that bustier will make it look more “professional.”

Make a Scene in Glitter amp; Sequins Unless your office is in a night club, keep the glitter locked up in your closet until after dark.
