UVB radiation is considered more dangerous to the eyes and skin than UVA radiation. You should look for sunglasses that block 99% or 100% of all UV light. Some manufacturers’ labels say “absorption up to 400nm.” This is the same thing as 100% absorption. Wraparound glasses are shaped to keep light from shining around the frames and into your eyes. A unique vivid blue diamond weighing 7.03 carats had been sold on Tuesday for a record 10.5 million Swiss francs ($9.49 million), this is the highest price paid per carat for any gemstone at auction, Sotheby’s said.
This is the rarest item entered the international market this year, whi is went to an anonymous buyer bidding by telephone after hectic bidding see-sawed between two callers for 15 minutes.
It was the centrepiece of its semi-annual sale in Geneva, conducted by David Bennett, chairman of Sotheby’s jewelry department in Europe and the Middle East, who said the results showed the market’s resilience despite the economic downturn.
“This is already a new world record price for a fancy vivid blue diamond and a new world record per carat for any gemstone (at auction),” Bennett told reporters.
“It is fantastic in this market and shows that these rare things are very much in demand,” he said.

Former “The O.C.” star Rachel Bilson has been hired as In Style magazine’s new fashion advice columnist.
The actress will front a monthly column beginning with the upcoming May issue of the publication.
According to WWD.com, Bilson will answer readers’ style questions and reveal some of her favorite trends.
In her first column, she’ll list her favorite spring style brands, including Lanvin sandals and Matta scarves.
Bilson says, “I’m not planning on quitting my day job to be a full-time fashion editor, although I am really enjoying it and it intrigues me very much. I’m actually flattered more than anything that people want to ask me questions about style. I am honored to do it.”
